Chamber Takes Action on Workers' Comp Rate Increase

In December, workers' comp rates increased by 14.5 percent. The rate increase was approved by the Office of Insurance Regulation as a result of recent Florida Supreme Court decisions relating to attorney fee caps. In response to this rate hike, the Destin Chamber Board of Directors passed a resolution encouraging the Florida Legislature to implement reforms to address attorney fees.
