City of Destin Recognizes Nick Coleman as its 2015 Employee of the Year
The City of Destin recently awarded Nick Coleman, recreation supervisor, the 2015 Employee of the Year Award, the city’s top staff honor. Coleman was presented the award at the city’s annual Christmas Party and will receive recognition for his accomplishment from the city council at the Jan. 4 council meeting. Covenant Hospice Launches New Brand, Expands Services
For more than 30 years, Covenant Hospice has been providing end-of-life care to Northwest Florida and South Alabama. Now, the not-for-profit organization is announcing its intention to expand services into new areas that will offer more care choices beyond traditional hospice services. In addition to establishing and announcing Covenant Care, a family of integrated healthcare services, Covenant will launch a new brand and logo at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, from the administration office, located at 5041 North 12th Ave., in Pensacola. A local brand launch event will also be held on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m., at the Covenant Care office, located at 220 Eglin Parkway NE, in Fort Walton Beach.
