Destin’s 5th Superhero Bayou, Bay & Back 1-Mile Fun Run, 5K Run/Walk, 10K & Half Marathon Sponsored by Shoreline Church is set for Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015. The race features USATF-certified 10K and Half Marathon courses, and racers are encouraged to embrace the superhero theme.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance. The start/finish line is located at Clement Taylor Park in Destin.
After the Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the race site, the Superhero Party will move over to Fudpucker's on Okaloosa Island, to enjoy big food and drink discounts for those in superhero costume and arcade tokens for the 1-Mile Fun Run participants.
